This is an easy one pot dinner. Prepared items such as spicy rice are great and quick to make. For the entree I thought I’d use smoked sausages. You could also use diced ham or any other protein of choice. You will usually get at least two meals out of this.
Per the rice instructions, fill the pot with the recommended water and rice mix. Bring to boil while stirring then reduce heat and keep stirring periodically till done.

The pre-cooked sausages comes in a package of six. They come in various types such as cheddar cheese. Using two to mix in with the rice. I slice them into bite size pieces.

Add the sausage medallions to the rice and stir. As the rice is already hot give it a few minutes for the bratwurst to heat up.

When ready serve as much or as little. This usually makes two meals and you can use it as a side for other meals as I did with chicken tenders.
